Hiring Zinfandel for holidays

Available for hire – but not just now

We’re sorry to disappoint you, but we’re taking a break from hiring Zinfandel out. We’re just too busy doing other things. Sadly we can’t make exceptions for one-offs because there are annual costs involved (insurance, and a hire operator’s navigation licence). Please bear with us! We hope to be back hiring again in April 2009.

Here are some suggestions for alternatives you can use. If you want to hire a boat locally and don’t mind having a cruiser rather a narrowboat, try the Bridge Boatyard in Ely. If you want a narrowboat, the nearest hire operator is Fox Boats in March. If you only want a day-trip for a party, try Rosie. If it’s a big party, try Georgina.

Satisfied customers

“Zinfandel’s combination of a luxurious fit out, bow thruster to ease manoeuvering and a very quiet running engine makes it a pure pleasure to take out on the river.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday on Zinfandel with our two young children. The owners were friendly and helpful and the boat itself splendid – we especially appreciated the quiet engine. The fenland scenery was surprisingly varied and we were interested to spot a number of herons. We shall certainly return for another trip!”
