Narrowboat Zinfandel based in Cambridge

Zinfandel was built by Sea Otter Boats. Construction started during the second half of 2002, and the boat was launched on March 14th, 2003. Here are some photographs that tell the story and show some details that are now hidden.

JanuaryZinfandel’s aluminium hull is just completed, with the engine already installed and the interior fit-out about to start.	FebruaryThe interior fit-out is half complete and it’s still possible to see some details of the construction that will be hidden when the boat is finished.
MarchThe boat has been painted and sign-writing is in progress. Most of the work is nearing completion.	The launch Zinfandel is craned into the water on 14th March 2003 at the Fish and Duck Marina at Pope’s Corner, where the Cam joins the Great Ouse.
