What we do

Proofreading

You send us your document – a book, newsletter, marketing leaflet, thesis, dissertation or web page – when it is almost ready for publication. If you want your work to be checked against original copy, you send us the copy as well.

We proofread your document carefully to identify mistakes and inconsistencies, and return you a marked copy showing our suggested corrections.

We'll conform to your house style if you have one. We'll make sensible decisions, in consultation with you, if you don't.

We are happy to work

• entirely on paper – you send us your document on paper; we mark it up by hand and send it back to you
• entirely electronically – you send us your document by email or on CD; we mark it up or edit it on screen and send it back to you by the same means
• on paper from an electronic original – we print a paper copy, mark it up by hand and send it back to you

We can work with a wide variety of file formats including Adobe Acrobat (PDF), Microsoft Word, Adobe PageMaker and HTML.

All our work is done to the highest professional standards.
