Why our work is good

All our publishing services are carried out by a trained professional proofreader who has been admitted to Ordinary Membership of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP) and follows the SfEP's Code of Practice. This means that you can rely on us to behave in a professional manner.

In particular, it means that we will:

• respect the confidentiality of the material you send us;
• not use subcontractors without your consent;
• decline a job at the outset if we believe we don't have the time or the ability to perform it properly.

We are fully competent in the use of British Standard proofreading symbols as specified by BS 5261C: 1976 and will use these in all our work unless you ask us to use a different system.
